Holds

Academic and administrative offices can place holds on a student’s account for many reasons (academic, financial, etc.) These holds prevent registration and changes to the student’s current registration, including adds, drops, and withdrawals.

Math or Composition holds are placed by the Office of the Registrar, and specific steps need to be taken to remove them.

Students can view any holds, as well as access contact information for the department who placed the hold, in their student RAMweb account via the Notification section on their homepage.

For all other holds, contact the phone number or email listed with the hold on your RAMweb to learn more about removal. Holds can only be removed by the office that placed the hold on your account.
